"It is necessary to inform the public about what transpired at the swearing in. I want to place it on record that no journalist was barred from covering

Bello urged the Chairmen to ensure Council workers are promptly paid their full wages, warning against profligacy saying the Chairmen must account for every penny received from the Federation Account. A United Pain and the Power of Collective Prayer for Biba

By Miriam Ikunaiye First and foremost, we must thank Almighty Gracious God that never fails. And on behalf of Habiba (Biba) and her entire family, I say a heartfelt thank you to the BCO community, friends, families and all the total strangers and other great organizations that took this tragedy and made it their own. While Biba is still receiving medical attention and recuperating, she sends her eternal gratitude to you all for the overwhelming support, love and attention given to her during her kidnapping ordeal. She prayed that Almighty God in Heaven repay you all in folds. Once again, she thanks you all from the bottom of her heart. From Biba BIBA WENT MISSING On Sunday, January 31, 2016, my phone ranged at about 9:45pm. It was Biba's husband at the other end. He said in an unfamiliar raspy voice "I call to talk to you about Biba," then his voice suddenly dropped very low. I could immidiately sense sadness and fear. I became very nervous as I struggled out of bed

Dinner Reception: FairWin Group Did Not Receive N18million From Anybody

There is no gainsay  that the dinner reception organized in honour of Kogi State Governor, His Execellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello by the FairWin Group was a huge success and exceptional despite the usual and unprecented crowd whereever Yahaya Bello goes as the generational change agent. Our thanks go to all the supporters of the event. However, some ugly rumours and reckless insinuations made by some ill-informed individuals have come to the notice of Fairwin management. It has become expedient to protect the image and virtue of Fairwin by laying bare the truth about the grand dinner.  It was rumored that an individual gave N18million as a financial support to organize the dinner The said allegation is serially  and wholly denied accordingly. The organizers of the dinner never received N18 million from the said donor or any other person. This can be proved by the financial report comprises the record of the voluntary donations and expenditures as submitted by the Finance and Budget C

RE-BELLO SNUBS OYEGUN, OCHOLI, PICKS OWN DEPUTY

It is not just today we heard that Simon is being tipped as Deputy to Yahaya Bello. Even the party consented to it some three weeks ago. We do not know why the issue was suspended. This type of report is part of the grand design and conspiracy to create hatred and animosity for the embattled Governor Yahaya Bello as if he is recalcitrant. Such use of hate adjectives as snubs, defies, etc in the Report are still part of the on going conspiracy to fight Yahaya Bello for no just cause other than hatred and animosity. Let it be placed on record that whether the Report is true or not, it is still the same fifth columnists that have been causing confusion in the political dispensation of Kogi state. So, it very easy for such fifth columnists to be hired for a fee so as to cause animosity and hatred among the ranks and files of the party caucus in their Report of so called happenings in Kogi state. Such fifth columnists are planted in our media and law profession who pretend to make th

Questions Before the NLC Kogi State

By Bello Support Organization The statement by the Nigerian Labour Congress against the efforts of Kogi State Government at sanitizing the civil service, is the peak of recklessness and irresponsibility. The plight of Kogi workers was the first the Executive Governor faced on assumption of office. Over the last 24 hours, the Media Team of the Governor has been on top of its game, trying to enlighten the people that the decision to make staff verification a precondition for salary payment is meant at ensuring that genuine salaries are not deprived of their entitlement by ghost workers. Kogi State cannot continue to pay 2.8 billion on salaries to a workforce dotted by high number of ghost workers. I know that labour was instigated to attack the government by forces who are about to be exposed by the verification exercise.  The public should ask labour why they are afraid of identifying themselves before they take their salaries. We know the people who are aggrieved by the new syst
