As part of measure to ensure safety at the workplace, Kogi Enterprise Development Agency, KEDA under the leadership of the MD/CEO KEDA, Hajia Rekiya Onaivo Sanni has organised a one day capacity training on fire safety. The training which was facilitated by the Health Safety and Environment (HSE) officer, Helen Feleshi is aimed at equipping the agency staff on measures that guaranty safety in case of fire incidence. Helen Feleshi while educating the staff on precautionary measures against fire outbreak at workplace noted that even though organizations were not established with the expectation of fire and other emergencies, preparing the staff against possible occurrences enables them to effectively manage risky situation within their working environment. She further highlighted common danger flashpoints in office spaces, exit strategies and rescue measures that maximize safety of staff in an event of fire outbreak. The safety officers took through a fire drill included evacuation, fire
