Yahaya Bello as the duly elected Governor of Kogi State, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Security Matters in charge of Okene Local Government, Engr. Inadequate Capacity Responsible For Poor Procurement Implementation – Mohammed Attah

Kabir To curb the rising spate of encroachment on public school lands in Kogi Central Senatorial district, an advocacy group, Proudly Anebira Forum has called for government's intervention to forestall the anomaly. In a renewed advocacy to save public schools in Ebiraland from extinction, the group berated the senseless encroachment and acquisition of lands within and around public primary and secondary schools across the community. It is believed that school lands are being sold to desperate people by jobless youth under the pretext of clannish ownership, a development that has reduced most schools to residential areas. In their recent deliberation, the group recalled with regret the past efforts of Ebira People's Association (EPA) when it engaged the state government on the need to end the incessant encroachment of school land.
