"Hate all you want" - Mercy Johnson tells critics

Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson has thrown her critics into ‘dustbin, saying that she will continue to move on in life ahead of them.  Mercy Johnson The (Ebira) Kogi State-born star in an interview with City People said ‘People will keep criticising when they want exactly what you have. They hate and they talk, but they want what you have. They crave to have what you have. So when they talk, the only way to shut them up is to even do better and up your game.’ She went on to add: ‘We are in an environment where people who have boils all over their faces will look at me that has just 1 pimple on my cheek and try to tell me what cream to use. People hide in the shadow and say stuff.’ She made it clear that nobody can make her to go back now, adding: “So it’s like hate all you want, I am moving. Eugenia Abu is one of Nigeria’s foremost Broadcasters. In 1995 she won the Nigerian Media Merit Award for TV Newscaster of the year. A prize winning Essayist, Poet, Short Story Writer, her works have appeared in The Guardian Newspapers, Leadership, This Day Newspapers, Daily Trust and the Association of Nigerian Author’s publication Themes Fall Apart but the Centre Holds (2008). Matthew Adeiza wins International Essay Contest

Matthew Ohiani Adeiza, a 400-level student of Mass Communication at the University of Jos, has emerged second place winner of the 2009 edition of the Culture of Enterprise International Student Essay Contest. The second place prize is $5000. The award ceremony at which Mr Adeiza was physically present, took place yesterday at the Harvard Club of New York. The first place winner was Matthew Shaffer of Yale University while Rachael Bishop of Mercer University, (both in the United States), came third. The essay contest is an initiative of the Intercollegiate Studies Institute, ISI, a non-governmental organization committed to academic excellence and holistic education. It is based in Delaware, United States. Michael Eneramo

His name is Michael Adinoyi Eneramo, born in Kaduna to Mr.& Mrs. Mathew Eneiramo ASP (Rtd). Eneramo started his professional footbal career with Yobe Desert Star and in 2003 Lobi Stars of Makurdi where he was the highest goal scorer in the country. In 2004, he went to Espenrance of Tunisia and was later sent on loan to USM Algerier where he also became the highest goal scorer before he was recalled back to Esperance of Tunisia. He got a better offer to one of the biggest teams in Saudi Arabia (Al Shabbab) in 2007. In 2008, he returned to Tunisia where they wanted him to nationalise and help the team get to the world cup in 2010. On the verge of nationalizing, the pressure from parent, family members particularly Hon. Jimoh Idris (Jolly) his uncle, help drew his attention back home that fatherland still remains fatherland.
