On the 17th January 2015, Kogi Central CSOs Network in collaboration with Ebira People's Association (EPA) held and interactive session with Ebira political candidates and aspirants for 2015 general elections . The event held at the Dabras Hotel in Okene was a huge success as almost all the candidates and serving elected office holders attended the session to showcase their manifestoes and achievements respectively. The highpoint of the event was the collective decalration for a peaceful electioneering by all the contestants come February 2015.. Following the "postponement" of the much awaited Turaki turbaning ceremony of Alhaji (Dr.) Sanusi Abubakar by the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, HRM Alhaji (Dr.) Ado Ibrahim, families and well-wishers of Alhaji Sanusi Abubakar held a reception ceremony at the residence of the Turaki (Alhaji Sanusi) at GRA Okene to treat guests to a highly entertaining evening.
