Steel University Bill: Oseni appreciates colleagues, stakeholders' attendance on Public Hearing

The Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District and chairman, Senate Committee on Information and Communication Technology/Cybercrime has expressed profound appreciation to the representatives of Kogi State government and his colleagues at the National Assembly for attending the public hearing of his bill seeking establishment of Steel University, Ajaokuta. Senator Oseni who also commended experts and stakeholders in the steel sector for making out time in attending the public hearing noted that the massive turn out indicated that Nigerians are highly receptive of any projects and idea that seeks true diversification of the economy. Connecting the Three Sectors for Improved Development

The Trans Atlantic Centre, a research, recreation and Community Development initiative will on Saturday March 27 host the first in the three series of Intellectual Leadership Platform, ILP, an initiative created to connect the public, private and the Non-profit Sectors as a means to increase development agenda in Kogi Central of Kogi State and the country at large. A webinar design to develop skills and improve the talents of leaders of NGOs and civil society organisations. The progra m is aimed at serving as a melting point for leaders and non-state actors in the area to connect, learn and share innovative ideas that will move the zone forward. TAC to Reinvigorate Third Sector Leaders

  Saturday March 27 has been set as a melting point for leaders and volunteers in the not-for-profit Sector from kogi Central of Kogi State and beyond. Tagged ‘’Intellectual Leadership Platform’’ (ILP), the initiative is meant to address major social and economic challenges affecting the accelerated development of the Zone, and by extension, the third sector in Nigeria. It will be hosted on the theme: Repositioning Leadership for Sustainable Economic Growth. The interface which is the brain child of Trans Atlantic Consult, a Research, Recreation, and Community Development Platform, is been hosted in collaboration with World Association of Non-Governmental Organisations, WANGO, Institute for Governance and Leadership Studies in Africa, IGLSA and Ebira Unity Television.
