EBIRA YOUTH CONGRESS REJOICES AS GOVERNOR YAHAYA BELLO GAINS VICTORY AT THE SUPREME COURT

Ebira Youth Congress (EYC) is impressed by the supreme court final verdict reaffirming Governor Yahaya Bello's poll victory. The litigation as reviewed from the start till end accentuates the people's voice and that of the impartial and independent judiciary. Hence, the hope of the common man in our legal climate is indeed revitalized by the judgement.

The Congress is optimistic of the administration's focus and heightened commitment to her blueprints, on which distractions must have been mischievously calculated by the litigation that has now finally thinned out.

His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello, the Ohinoyi and the good people of Ebira land and that of Kogi state in general own this victory. Verily, the golden voice of the progressive Kogi masses has been further enlivened altogether.

It is our strong wish that almighty God, Who is the custodian of authority, continue to bless and prosper Kogi state by this divine institution of Governor Bello's leadership, amen.

For an event that happens with few or no significant eye witness, the news come in different versions; some partially correct, others completely cooked up. The Obege legend

In the earliest generations when the art of magic was yet a myth to the people, there was born a boy into a family of hunters in the village of Eika - one of the six communities that comprised the ancestral groups.
