Kogi Election: Ohiare Urges Kogites To Support Gov Bello

Dr Sanusi Ohiare, Executive Director of Rural Electrification Fund (REF) has congratulated Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, on his victory at the Supreme Court.

The apex court of the land had on Monday 31st August, 2020 affirmed the victory of Governor Yahaya Bello and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the November 2019 Gubernatorial elections in Kogi.

Reacting to the Supreme Court judgment, Dr. Ohiare congratulated the Governor, saying the ruling truly reflects the will of the people which is the Will of God, and posits that the judgement brings to an end all tussles for the governorship and allows the governor to focus on delivering on his vision and promises for the good people of Kogi State.

He solicits the support of all well-meaning kogites to rally round the governor in his quest to develop the state regardless of political affiliations, tribe or faith.

“The Governor’s victory at the Supreme Court is the true will of the people which they demonstrated in November 2019 when they filed out in their thousands to re-elect him, Ohiare said, emphasizing that now is the time to work.

“Now it’s time to face governance as the apex court in the land has done the needful affirming and confirming the voice of the people as being for Governor Bello, ” he said.

He said the responsibility to develop Kogi State should not be left in the hands of the Governor alone, saying every adult Kogite should be willing to partner with the government to bring development and inclusive growth to the state.
