By Ismail M. Kabir  In an epoch making children cooking competition held in Lokoja today, an 11 year old Olayemi David emerged the winner. The event tagged 9JA Kids Cooking Competition which was organized by Precious Gold Empire  and hosted by the First Lady of Kogi State, Hajia Sefinat Ododo was first of its kind in the state. Children between the ages of eight and thirteen (8-13) engaged in a 3-Day highly competitive cooking contest, showcasing various menus from the Okun, Ebira and Igala traditional delicacies. A cash prize of Two hundred thousand naira ((N200,000) was given to the overall winner while the first runner up got One hundred and fifty thousand naira (N150,000) and the second runner up got One hundred thousand naira (N100,000).
