Celebrating the life of an ENIGMA, a loving Mother

Maria Onyioza Makoju the MATRIARCH of the MAKOJU family of Ebiraland was born in Okene, Karaworo district in 1922. Where went our maiden names?

They intend to do that by taking some of their LGAs to add to the central district. I don’t know if they have cared to see the constitutional rationality and ethnic sovereignty behind the arrangement. That in every state there is always the three senatorial districts. If Kogi East are said to be 1.4 million people, Kogi Central with 928,000 people and Kogi West is 906,000, if they now wish to add Dekina and Bassa LGAs to the central, that now gives the central 1.329m people with the East left with 1.078m. To start with this, is there any justification? Is there any justice in what they wish to do? In doing this, it clearly shows that there are ulterior motive behind it. Now, you have increased central and have decreased your own, to the extent that Kogi East...

EbiraView in the company of Ebira Opete TV and Angelina Theatre Troupe, visited the market to capture live transactions and happy moments. It was a carnival of snapshots and market women granted interviews. At the eid, the chief Imam of Ebiraland, Alhaji Musa Galadima urged Anebira to that the current peace in the land is sustained. He used the occassion to pray for the lost souls and the victims of the crises just as he invoked Allah's wrath on anybody engaging in acts that could thwart the peace effort.
