New shops now showing up after the ugly incident that led to an nearly 'total burnt down' of the market in 2001. Proximity to the nothern part of the country brings a fair share of the dry winds of harmattan. By noon, the atmosphere started going brown and buildings fading into shadows. The clear indication is, harmattan is by the corner. A season of windfall for dealers in cosmetics and sweaters, a period to judge the truly 'beautiful' woman if you know what I mean.
