The Team of EbiraView.com successfully carried out a photo coverage of The 2006 National Population Census across Ebiraland. The enumeration activities were smooth witnessing general cooperation from the Ebiras as everybody came out to get counted. The awareness campaign undertaken by the local governments, Ebira associations and all other interest groups had a big impact on the turn out. EbiraView team was virtually present everywhere around Ebiraland associating with the Census officials and the government alike. Supports were received from Adavi and Ajaokuta local governments while other local government pledged their support in subsequent events. The excercise was perceived by many as one of the most successful of its kind in Ebiraland. Among those visited by EbiraView team were Adavi, Ajaokuta, Okene and Okehi local government chairmen. Brief Biography He is His Royal Majesty(HRM), Alhaji (Dr.) Abdul Rahman Ado Ibrahim Born on 7th Feb. 1929. He assumed the office of Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, 2nd June 1997, after the passing away of the former Ohinoyi, Alhaji Sanni Omolori who ruled for 40 years and 40 days as Ohinoyi of Ebiraland. Alh.(Dr.)AbdulRahman Ado Ibrahim attended a Nursery and Quranic School and later finished his primary education from NA School in Okene, Kogi State in 1940. He later went to Ondo Boys high School and Oduduwa College and rounding up his secondary education in 1949. He obtained a B.Sc in Economics from London School in 1954 and an MBA from Harvard business School, 1959. His enthrownment as the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland was a grand occassion, attended by thousands of Ebiras and international diplomats and was broadcast on major Nigerian Television stations for days.
