Dr Isah Mohammed has been confirmed as the new rector of the Kogi Polytechnics, Lokoja. The newly appointed rector is a younger brother of Dr Isah, the celebrated rector of Kwara college of technology, Ilorin. He is the second Anebira (Kogi central) to assume the apex position in the institution after a former Ebira rector, Dr. Adamu Obajimoh from Obangede in Okehi LGA who majored in physics held the position some years back. It is noteworthy that Kogi East and Kogi West have respectively had their share of the position before another turn of Kogi central was due, recently. May God guide Dr. Isah as he leads the Polytechnic to a new height, Ameen. We should not forget the role of our resilient EPA in ensuring that Ebiras are not short-changed in producing the next successor to the immediate past Rector, Prof. Idowu Mathew Ajibero who hailed from Kogi west.
