Matthew Adeiza wins International Essay Contest

Matthew Ohiani Adeiza, a 400-level student of Mass Communication at the University of Jos, has emerged second place winner of the 2009 edition of the Culture of Enterprise International Student Essay Contest. The second place prize is $5000. The award ceremony at which Mr Adeiza was physically present, took place yesterday at the Harvard Club of New York. The first place winner was Matthew Shaffer of Yale University while Rachael Bishop of Mercer University, (both in the United States), came third. The essay contest is an initiative of the Intercollegiate Studies Institute, ISI, a non-governmental organization committed to academic excellence and holistic education. It is based in Delaware, United States.
