The Dean, School of Post Graduate Studies, Nigeria Defence Academy (NDA) Kaduna, Professor Adams Abere, has identified lack of ethical values as the major problem militating against the growth and development of Ebira ethnic group of Kogi State.
In a key note address, at the 12th edition of Ebira National Youth Summit, over the weekend, in Okene, the headquarters of Central Senatorial district of the state, Abere said until Ebira-speaking people resolved to go embrace, anew, age-long ethical values of hard work, courageous virtue, vitality among others, Ebira nation may continue to dwell in a perpetual decline in both infrastructure and human capital development.
Abere, who also blamed the current backwardness of the land on the crops of politicians from the area.
