This struggle is as a result of uneven distribution of resources , lopsided appointment to favour a particular axis of the state , underdevelopment of other parts of the state and so on. The events that culminate in the eventual election of Alhaji Yahaya Bello of APC as the Governor of Kogi state is an act of God and we pray Allah to forgive Prince Abubakar Audu and accept his soul into paradise (Ameen ). There has been series of agitation from many quarters as to the rightful owner of the APC ticket vis-a-vis the Governorship seat. While Hon Abiodun Faleke  has exercise his rights by going to court via tribunal, we expect him to obey party supremacy on the long run and tow the line of honour. The 5th edition of the annual Ebira carnival held on Friday 25th December 2015 at the ANATEE Treasure Resort, Ege-Ihima Road, Obeiba Ihima was a huge success. Ebira community leaders, families, friends, groups and hundreds of fun seekers graced the fun-filled picnic in a serene atmosphere charged with a mix of traditional and hip-hop beats. Guests were served with lots of food from local delicacies, drinks and endless entertainment as corporate sponsors seized the moment to showcase their brands to the teeming guests. See photos:
