JAMES FALEKE :THE RUBBLE ROUSER

By Eneye Mohammed Ametinigo

Indeed, it has become a tread in Nigeria for losers in elections to play on primordial sentiments so as to make things difficult for the winners in such elections. While claiming to be working for their sectional group, the primordial leaders are actually using the unsuspecting public as cannon fodder.

Ebira people voted for APC in Kogi Guber poll despite that late Audu was the standard bearer. When the law saw AYB as successor upon his untimely demise; Igalas saw the development utterly unacceptable, and opportunity to distract the divinely and constitutional benefit of the of the mandate of AYB. Some Igalas hit upon the propaganda stunt of all sorts. The Okuns who comfortably accepted slot no 2 having displaced Ebira to the no 3 are now seeing Hon James Faleke as the "golden boy" to benefits the feat of APC in Kogi Guber poll.

The collaboration of some Igalas and some Okuns are merely following the footsteps of the 'devil' who was envious of Adam as the inheritor of the earth.

It's very civil of the newly formed Faleke /Audu coalition to have petitioned Tribunal though in defiance of party supremacy. The coalition now resorts to media propaganda claiming threat to James Faleke's life. The coalition and their allies threatened severally that the inauguration of AYB slated for January 27th will be violently disrupted. Aside several levels of violent provocation toward the people of Ebira descent that reside or plight commerce activities in Igala land and Okun land.

The Ebira people who are hitherto tagged "aggressors" refused to be provoked. The people became much more accommodating and hospitable to all manner of persons. While rejoicing, Ebira people consoled the Igalas on the loss of their illustrious son in late Audu.

Anyway, some disgruntled elements didn't want to be left out of the destructive sectional politics in Kogi State, even when it's obvious that their actions are capable of ruining the political future of their people.

The various labour /trade union leaders are either Igalas or Okuns by origin. All right thinking Kogites see their strike action as device to shut down the state thereby making it difficult for AYB to start governance comfortably.

I am astonished that Okuns adjudged to be most educated in Kogi are in the emotional burden, seeing Faleke, a Lagosian who claimed Kogi origin exposing a generation of innocent Okun people but are afraid of challenging him frontal in public for fear of political uncertainty. Your race is being used to propagate matters of disinterest to the generality yet the elites keep mute? Should I believe it's the absence of culture of conviction, diversity of ideas and inclusion as in civilised clime? Think!!!

Let's not plug our state into anarchy as Faleke /Audu coalition continually threatening. Don't create monsters if not all of us will be vulnerable to the consequences.

The governance matter of Kogi State should be seen beyond ethnicity. The unsuspecting public are being manipulated to cultivate mindset of victimisation while the Faleke & Co pretend to be liberators. Hmmm, be reminded that you reap what you sowed. Majority of victims in the hands of OPC freedom agitators are the Yorubas and others in the south West Nigeria.. Give jobs to our employable youth and develop the unemployable to be competitive in the labour market.

Those who think Faleke & Co have case under Nigeria constitution are in grave error and thinking wishfully. They don't understand the constitutionality of the matter. I believe Faleke is being used by greedy and over ambitious mentor. His political journey is getting to stop station having lost out of favour with the party.

The shopping for his replacement as Deputy Governor elect and as Member, House of Representative is underway. His mentor may not be able to save him.
The guy James Faleke is indeed a RABBLE ROUSER to the Okuns in similitude of Adolf Hitler to the Germans.

The case of Ahmed Awela, Murtala (Eti Bobo) among other Ebira youths

Ismail M. Kabir, Lagos. Between controversial existence and a contentious exit. There are various sides to a story. For an event that happens with few or no significant eye witness, the news come in different versions; some partially correct, others completely cooked up. In some cases, such non-witnessed event pass round as rumour until eventually confirmed. Rumour it was, when a phone call from Okene announced the death of two famous Ebira youths! They were killed by the Police, reported the news. Being on a Sunday when nothing too special should ensue save for the usual church services and social functions, the news sounded as the most unexpected, as a matter of fact, incredible! The thought of losing such youths on an ordinary day like Sunday undoubtedly was the reason for the astonishment. Not a single person of Ebira origin, within or outside the soil would believe such shocker upon first hearing. Text messages, phone calls and of course physical enquiries lingered, all in an atte

The Obege legend

In the earliest generations when the art of magic was yet a myth to the people, there was born a boy into a family of hunters in the village of Eika - one of the six communities that comprised the ancestral groups. He was believed to have been born with a leaf in his hand and to the elders of then, that was prognostic of what he would be - a native healer. And had grown up performing wonders. His kinsmen were all hunters, they would deny the boy the opportunity to follow them hunting, purely on age ground - and he was really too young to go hunting in the forest. They would leave him in the house with the women as they set out on their hunting expedition. But they had meet the young Obege in the forest roasting a fair member of the forest’s game, all alone - and unarmed! The elders had to defer to this wonderful boy. Obege as an adult was more than human. His fame had spread all over the land: he was a healer of most seemingly incurable diseases, he was a rain maker, assumed more divin
