The Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Special Projects and Focal Person, Kogi Social Investment Programme, Hon. Abdulkareem Suleiman Onyekehi has expressed his condolences to the Majority Leader of Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Sheikh Abdullahi Bello aka Chop Knuckle on the demise of his father, Alhaji Hassan Balogun.
The deceased, a former chairman of Ajaokuta Local Government Area died at early hours of today in Abuja.
Hon. Onyekehi described the late Alhaji Hassan Balogun as an astute politician whose political goodwill as a former local council chairman remains indelible.
"We are sad over the loss of our father, a reputable politician whose political glory has been inherited by his son, our capable Majority Leader of Kogi House of Assembly, Hon. Abdullahi Bello aka Chop Knuckle.
" The good people of Ajaokuta will miss him but his political legacy will remain indelible in our hearts.
" I therefore wish to express my heartfelt condolences to our Majority leader and his entire family over this painful loss. I pray that Almighty Allah forgive our late father his shortcomings and grant his soul eternal rest in peace, Ameen".
Onyekehi further prayed that agod grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
