The Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Special Projects and Focal Person, Kogi Social Investment Programme, Hon. Abdulkareem Suleiman Onyekehi has described the Supreme Court's reaffirmation of Yahaya Bello's election as a testimony to the divine mandate that enthroned him as the 4th executive governor of Kogi State.
Hon. Onyekehi stated this in his congratulatory message to Gov. Yahaya Bello on his victory at the apex court on Monday following the successes recorded at the election tribunal and the appeal court where Musa Wada of PDP and Barr. He congratulated the Governor for his resilience and focus through the hurdles just as he commended the good people of Kogi State for believing in the administration.
"Yahaya Bello is a child of destiny whose battles are fought by God. He has singlehandedly defeated all his opponents and dreaded forces within and outside his state and political party that held Kogi State hostage over the years.
"Your Excellency, through your vigour and determination, you have liberated your people and Kogi State from shackles of underdevelopement.
"I sincerely appreciate my fellow New Direction team for the loyalty and support to our principal through the hurdles, I commend the good people of Kogi State for believing in the administration and want to to assure them that the days ahead hold a lot of positives for the overall betterment of our dear state.
