Campaign against Drug Abuse: DE FRIENDS visit Ohinoyi of Ebiraland

The Dynamic Ebira Friends Club has officially flagged off a campaign against girl child molestation and Drug Abuse in Ebiraland, the campaign which is aimed at carrying out a sensitization programmes in schools, markets places and communities across Kogi Central Senatorial Districts to spread awareness and to educate the youth on the dangers associated with drug abuse and other related substances as well as the girl child molestation.

The activities started with a courtesy call on the paramount ruler and Ohinoyi of EBIRALAND, HRM Alh. (Dr.) Ado Ibrahim, CON at his Palace in Okene. 
The club was led by her *National Vice President, Comr Jibril Abbas* who briefed his Majesty on her already sponsored radio jingle programme and talk show magazine currently being aired on our local radio station to sensitize our people on this evil menace ravaging the land and also the various billboards placed across Kogi Central Senatorial District with the same campaign against drug abuse and other related substances as well as the girl child molestation.

In his remark, the Royal Father said he was overwhelmed by this great initiative by the club and pledge his total support to ensure the programme record a huge success which is geared towards healing Ebiraland and restore sanity amongst our youths. 

The Ohinoyi of Ebiraland further pledged to do everything within his reach in linking the club with relevant agencies like National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) who are already at the top of combating this menace and ensure smooth collaboration with the club to eradicate this menace from Ebiraland.

The club is encouraging all well meaning Anebira to join hands in this campaign as this trend if not curbed will leave us a damaged society in the future.

In the earliest generations when the art of magic was yet a myth to the people, there was born a boy into a family of hunters in the village of Eika - one of the six communities that comprised the ancestral groups.
