Reminiscent of the impact and memories of their glorious days in college, the '87 graduates of Abdulazeez Atta Memorial College, Okene (AAMCO 1987 Old Boys) presented awards to three best students in all classes of the prestigious college in the second edition of the annual event in appreciation of the positive impact the college has made in their academic life.
The event which held on the 4th of October 2021 at the school premises in Okene was well attended by the 1987 Old Boys Excos, member of staff and students of the college.
A total number of 42 students were presented with various prizes including computer laptops for the overall best SS3 students in both Science and Arts while study and Writing materials were donated to the best students in all arms of classes.
The group also provided support for all the teaching and non-teaching staff of the college.
In their end of year report, the Chairman of the group, Engr. Ahmed Musa thanked the members for their financial supports that have taken the group thus far.
Engr. Musa who acknowledged the present economic hardship in the country appealed to the members to do more for the group to achieve greater feat in the coming year, 2022.
The group's lined up activities for the coming year includes support to various category of beneficiaries including orphanage homes, both serving and retired AAAMCO teachers, students and Financial support for members.
The AAMCO 1987 Old Boys group is currently led by Engr. Ahmed Musa (Chairman) Prof. Adulkareem Adinoyi (President), Yekini Ojenya (Secretary General), Abdul Musa (Financial Secretary), Dr. Suleiman Aliyu (Treasurer) and Abraham Raphael (PRS).
