1. What is KG-CARES? 
KG-CARES mean
Kogi State COVID-19
Action Recovery and 
Economic Stimulus program. It is a project that aims to lessen the impact of COVID-19 lockdown in micro and small enterprises in Kogi State.

2. Who is eligible?
Owners of Micro and Small Enterprises with business operations in Kogi State. 

3. How can I benefit from the grant?
For Support to Micro and Small businesses, visit https://cares.plax.ng/kogi or Kogi enterprise Development Agency [KEDA] Glass House, Along Federal university Road, between 10am-2pm every work day for the period of enrolment.  

4. What's the procedure for Application? 
First, indicate interest by applying online or physically at KEDA office. Or get enumerated in your local government based on schedules.

5. How long do we wait after application for vetting prpcess and enumeration?
Between 30-60 days

6. How can I be captured if I don't have a smartphone?
First, visit KEDA office for registration, support staff will guide you through the entire process. Next, field agents will visit to capture you for further processing.

7. How much do I get paid per month? 
The least Amount for disbursement to beneficiary is N100,000.00

8. What if I don't have an account number?
Upon selection, a wallet will be created for beneficiaries through partnering Financial Institution where beneficiary money is deposited. 

9. Do I need a CAC certificate?
No you don’t. You only need evidences of operations and existing business to benefit

10. I don't have a business yet, can I still be a beneficiary?
No. The grant is to existing businesses affected by COVID-19.

11. What if I don't have internet facilities?

Enumerators shall be allocated to work in the 21 Local Government of the State.

KG-CARES Registration Link Opens for Applicants

The management of Kogi Enterprise Development Agency, KEDA wishes to inform the general public that Kogi-CARES (COVID-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus) is now open for registration.

 Business owners and entrepreneurs whose businesses are located in Kogi State, are encouraged to visit the link https://cares.plax.ng/ to submit applications.

Prospective beneficiaries can submit applictions under any of the three Disbursement Link Indicators, DLIs that captures the scope of their businesses with relevant and verifiable documents.

The KG-CARES program encourages Women, youths and persons with disabilities to apply.

The KG-CARES is an intervention of the Kogi State Government withsupport from the Wrold Bank to assist and resuscitate businesses that were adversely affected by COVID-19 pandemic.

Here's the grant delivery process for Result Area 3:

1. Register using the link
2. Vetting process will commence after the registration
3. Successful beneficiaries would be reached through a text message for a scheduled enumeration.
4. Upon verification an approval would be granted
5. Disbursement/Payments 

Applicants must have met the required criteria as highlighted by the NG-CARES team.

We have made available Desk Officers to assist the application process for those who need support physically at KEDA Office. 

We use this opportunity to advise the general public to be weary of all forms of frudulent activities as this process and service is at no cost to applicants.

In addition, all enquiries are to be directed to KEDA help desk.
