A Call To Serve: Friends Yearning For Dr. Sanusi Ohiare To Take A Lead In Kogi State Governance

Understanding the intrinsic value and human petals of a figure is the characteristics of identified personality, a humourous clamour & plea of coalition of groups and friends across kogi and beyond yearning to convince Dr. Sanusi Ohiare (DSO) with the interest to take lead in governance of the state.

The call was made at a dinner organized in hornor of Dr Sanusi at the Royal Hall of the Palms Hotel in Central District area of FCT, Abuja during the weekend.

Going by his progressive antecedents, DSO possesses the requisite experience, exposure, track record and integrity capable of leading the state to continue the developmental achievements brought by His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello in the state as exemplified in Rural Electrification Funds in REA as Executive Director.

Similarly, Dr. Sanusi has overtime proved to be an acute leader with mind to develop the society to the next level as records also have it that he has provided employment opportunities, payment of WAEC and school Fees of Indigent students of the State at higher institution level, empowerments to vulnerable groups particularly youth, market women and other less privileged members of the society and its suburb.

One Injured As Masqueraders Clash With Soldiers in Okene

Heavy gunshots rang through the town of Okene today when followers of a popular masquerade engaged in a violent confrontation with men of the Nigerian Army. An eye witness who spoke with EbiraView Media on condition of anonymity narrated the trail of event that led to the violent clash. Acoording to the eye witness accounts, trouble started when a soldier in mufti was accosted in Okene town and was beaten by a masquerade known as Akamawu from Kuroko community of Adavi local government. The soldier was said to have reported the encounter to his colleagues guarding CCECC expatriates staff yard around Inoziomi area.
