Honourable Ohere's Personal And Engineering Attributes Would Make Him An Admirable Senator - Mama Taofiq

In the early hours of Friday, July 29th, 2022, Hon. Salihu O. Halimat (mama-taofiq) received the audience of TeamOhere4Senate in her residential house at Oziokutu, Adavi Local Government Area, Kogi State.

In their opening speech, the team expresses solace and confidence in Mama-taofiq political prowesses and noted that her political landscape in Adavi Local Government Area remains a force to be reckon with by any serious politician. 

The speaker of the team Hon. Kenyi-kenyi said, that Hon. Ohere specifically hashtags the importance and value of Hon. Salihu O. Halimat in his ambition as that which will resonate the women's interest because she represents the women folks. They acknowledged mama-taofiq invaluable contribution in the past as a proponent of APC victory in the State which was why they have come to appreciate and solicite towards 2023.

While speaking, mama-taofiq also expresses her joy, happiness and reservations as regards the government recognition of her status and position in APC. She however frowned on the fact that the government haven't being fair to her.

She likened her situation in APC as that of the needle that sow the stylistic and fitted cap of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, his appointees and other political office holders in Kogi Central but was dumped while they thrill on the beauty of the cap.

According to mama-taofiq, she was not happy for being dumped in the party she spent so much money, time and commitment to build while watching those whose position and stances in this victory are questionable enjoying the luxury of her sweat. However, mama-taofiq said, she had no intention to work against the position of her party and it's leadership, that Hon. Ohere and other APC flagbearers in Kogi Central Senatorial District are by virtue of her policy, her candidates and that she will, as usual, work with her team to ensure their victory come 2023 Insha Allah. 

She added, that we all know that the developmental agenda of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello remains far too dominated by Hon. Ohere's ideas, experience and valuable contributions. She said, his choice is clear because of his amazing bubbly personality mixed with a sense of purpose. Hon. Ohere personal and engineering attributes would make him an admirable Senator and the best for people of Kogi Central-he has all my best wishes and support, she concluded.

Hon. Kenyi-kenyi who spoke onbehalf of the team pleaded with mama-taofiq to eschew vendetta and ensure that the party win once again. He noted that Hon. Ohere acknowledged her outstanding worth in APC which was why they have come to solicite and promise that this time around, she is sure to reap all that seems to have eluded her and her team over time. 

In addendum, another veteran speaker, Hon. Abubakar S. Ejide (Ozioto) said, mama-taofiq have quietly and humbly made time to support her chosen charities and characters by her submissions and reception and have provided much invaluable pro bono works that leads the victory of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello home and, that her effort is noted. 

From their body languages, they are looking forward to see mama-taofiq replicating that idealistic politicking 2023.

Mama-taofiq political group woman leader Mrs. Nafiu Hajarat, in her closing remarks said, Hon. Ohere is a fresh voice and his choice therefore resonates people's choice. She added that with Hon. Ohere's political background in bringing women forward into positions of responsibility in the present administration, he deserves to be given the chance to lead the good people of Ebiraland in the red chamber. Hon. Ohere will no doubt rebuild and restore our community through quality policy making which will uniquely suited to his base, she concluded.
