Eyire Clan Fully Backs Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo for Governor

The emergence of Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo has been greatly lauded by the entire Eyire clan in EbiraLand.

It was a moment of camaraderie and total expression of allegiance to the Gubernatorial candidate of the APC, Ododo by the entire Eyire clan on Sunday, April 16, 2023, led by their respected Kinsman, Ambassador Isyaka Usman (Akanson) and other stakeholders.

The unprecedented decision was taken at a high-powered peace and reconciliation meeting involving the leadership of the clan, traditional rulers, opinion leaders, and other stakeholders of the clan. The meeting took place at the palace of Ohiopisa Eyire Alhaji Okeji, at the instance of Alhaji Jubril Momoh, the Accountant General of Kogi State who in his wisdom and cooperative dispositions sent some emissaries to his kinsmen to calm the fray nerves orchestrated by his botched aspirations.

The meeting also allowed the Eyire clan to appreciate His Excellency, Yahaya Adoza Bello for the honor done to them by appointing their sons into sensitive and strategic positions in his government. They said the time is ripe for the dust to settle down, bridge the differences and unite as a formidable front to support him to advance the course of Kogi State for better well-being and impactful democratic dividend.

They also lauded the decision of APC to field a candidate whose pedigree is not in doubt; humble, confident, compassionate, visionary, and emotionally stable with exceptional capabilities. 

They pledged their total support for the governor, the APC candidate, and unanimously promised to assiduously work for the Victory of APC in the gubernatorial elections come November 2023.

The leader of the emissaries, Ambassador Isyaka Usman (Akanson) appealed to the good people of Kogi State particularly Ebiraland to eschew unnecessary, unwholesome, and unprofitable trade of hatred and embrace unity and peaceful co-existence which are the veritable panacea for society development. As for us, the Eyires, “We are united in peace with people by the bond of love that we collectively share” says Hon. Isiaka Kokori-Abdul.
The Ohiopisa Eyire, Alh Okeji, and other sub-clan heads of Eyire offered fervent prayers for God’s continuous guidance and protection over HE, Alhaji Ododo, and the peace of Ebiraland and the entire Kogi State.
