Dr. Sanusi Ohiare Conferred With The Title of "Akiliwo Ejeh" Olamaboro

 By Ismail M. Kabir   The Traditional title of Akiliwo Ejeh (Strength of the King) Olamaboro has been conferred on Dr. Sanusi Ohiare, the exeuctive director of Rural Electrification Fund. The event held over the weekend at the palace of Ejeh of Olamaboro, in Okpo town, Olamaboro local government area, Kogi State. His Royal Highness, Chief Simeon Ujah, the paramount ruler of Olamaboro conferred the prestigious title on Dr. Sanusi alongside other illustrious sons of Olamaboro and Okunland who received various titles in appreciation of their support to the kingdom. While acknowledging the impact of Govenor Yahaya Bello's administration at the grassroots, the deputy governor of Kogi state, His Excellency Chief Edward Onoja who chaired the epoch event commended the governor for building a road "that will stand the test of time in Olamaboro". Kogi: LGA Chairman, collaborators disobey court orders despite petitions to Gov. Bello

The Okene Local Government Chairman of Kogi state, Engr. Abdulrazak Mohammed and defendants from Ogu and Esusu clan have refused to obey court orders on Ugburoko land dispute despite series of petitions to the State Governor, Yahaya Bello. Recall that a judgement was passed in 2019 by the High Court of Justice of Kogi state against the Kogi state government and the Attorney General of Kogi state and other defendants on a land dispute, being a land in Ugburoko layout in Iruvochinomi, Adavi LGA, of the state. This was disclosed during an interview with Mr Shittu Abdulrahman, a stakeholder and one of the sons to Chogudo family of Ezuka clan in Iruvochinomi, Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi state. Capacity Building: KOGI SIP Trains Staffs On Ethical Conducts

By  Ismail M. Kabir The Kogi State Social Investment Programme has concluded a 2-Day training for its staffs on ethical conducts as part of capacity building for its personnel across the state. The training was organized by the Kogi State Office of the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP) in Collaboration with the Center for Ethics And Self Value Orientation (CESVO) at the Glass House of the State government house, Lokoja between Monday and Tuesday (7th and 8th September), 2020.
