Ebiraland in Retrospection:A Moment of Reflection:My Messege to Anebira Against Aspersions*

By :*Comr A Arivi* " _Semediyehuni ireche oporokoto oidaku enwu oniri enwu oyidu_" This piece has everything in connection with the seizless- failed attempt at which some of the sons and daughters of the land are hell-bent in casting aspersions against our very own sons and daughters in and outside the media space.  Have we forgotten so soon, when things fell apart, the center couldn't, hold, anachy was loosed upon the land and the falcons didn't listen to the falconers ?  Nostalgically,Let's go back memory lane. Those who have been following the trend of issue since 1999 till 2016, we agree with me that the years mentioned were characterized with tumultuously dicey experiences that we can never wish for our enemy again let alone for ourselves where communual Crises, kidnapping, killings, rubbery, assasination, arson( malicious burning of properties)youth restiveness, thuggery and many more were the major trend.  Have we forgotten so soon that terrorism got ...

TRIBUTES TO AN ICON

By: Engr. Ondeku  God! You have just crushed the remaining pieces of our hearts. If this is a dream, I can't wish my enemy to have it... Weep Ebira People! Weep for a light from our household is gone, a voice we love is stilled. A place is vacant in our land that nobody can fill. Engr. Makoju is the remaining pillar on which the house is standing and I asked, who pulled down the remaining pillar of our house? This is terrible! In our minds, we always knew this time would come to pass. But knowing it, and living it, has come and gone so fast of his person. I don't got my job through him but the wisdom of knowing where to search for the job was from him. He don't teach me how to read and write but the inspiration to go to school came from him.  Others have bad stories of their deeds but I never heard one of his personality.  It's hard to say goodbye, but since we can't question the almighty God, I pray you be in the heaven with God an hour before the world...

I also pointed out that for Kogi central to witness dividends of democracy as others have been witnessing in some states, we must place the right people in the National Assembly especially our Senate and House of Reps. I was emphatic on the characteristics of such person we can send. While the letter went viral, I recieved lots of calls and message from people who shared thesame opinion as mine, and also some others who called to threatened me.  As an electorate with capacity to gather support and votes from comrades, friends, colleagues, and family members who believed in me as an experience leader, I cannot act as a coward in pu...

Open Letter to Kogi APC Delegates and Party Leader(s).

This open letter has become pertinent as present experience have left us incheck of how our internal party system has been, especially with the quality of Representatives we have been opportuned to produce and the results they have been able boast over their terms in office.  The youths of kOgi state most especially, the Kogi central and specifically the youths of Okene/Ogori Magongo Federal constituency has deem it fit to air their opinions, on the forthcoming APC primaries that will produce our various party flagbearers going into the general election next year Feb as INEC timetable has postulated. The last 3-4 years of our national Assembly members in the upper and lower chamber and how they have mediocritically brought abysmal results and throw away people oriented programs and policies has forced us to reminiscent on how our representative at the national levels were produced by our dear party.  There is no gainsaying that our esteemed youths have shown utt...
