National Convention: APC appoints Dr. Abdullahi Sanni Ozomata as member sub-committee on Medical

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has named 19 new committees to oversee relevant structures of its activities for its forthcoming National Convention. From its Central Planning Committee made of the party’s 12 interim executives down to the 20th committee, a total of 710 persons have been appointed to serve in various committees. In the document shared to journalists on Sunday, Dr. Abdullahi Sanni Ozomata was appointed as a member, Sub-Committee on Medical, which has its chairman as the Cross Rivers State governor, Ben Ayade.  Other committees are Media/Publicity with Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu as chairman, Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State heads the Security/Protocol Committee while Entertainment/Welfare Committee has Deputy Speaker Idris Wase as chairman. At 38, Dr. Abdullahi Sanni Ozomata is an astute administrator cum project manager and politician who has distinguished himself in selfless humanitarian services.  Born to the family of Mall. & Hajiya (Mrs.)  Sanni Sadiq Ozomata (Sansad) in Okene, Dr. Abdullahi hails from Okene Local Government Area of Kogi State. Senate Moves to Establish Federal University of Education, Okene

A bill seeking for the establishment of Federal University of Education, Okene has passed first reading at the red chamber of the National Assembly. The bill sponsored by the Senator representing Kogi Central seeks to upgrade the Federal college of education Okene into a full fledged University of Education. Etudaiye Pays N2.750m SSCE Fee For over 100 Ebira Students

Adomu Muhammed Etudaiye, a renown philanthropist from Okene, Kogi State, has paid the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE) fees for over 100 indigent Senior Secondary School in kogi Central Senatorial District. Etudaiye said, in Okene on Wednesday 23rd February that the gesture was aimed at complementing the Ebira Youth Congress’s educational development efforts. He said the beneficiaries were carefully selected from some public secondary schools in Ebiraland. According to his representative, Hon. Habib Ikunaiye, the beneficiaries are the children of less privileged individuals within Kogi Central who are designated to sit for the examination but could not afford the fees. He described education as the bedrock of development whose value must not be subordinated under any reason.  Ikunaiye therefore called on other public-spirited people in Ebiraland to emulate the gesture by investing in education to guarantee bright future fo
