By Ismail M. Kabir, Lokoja A coalition of concerned Ebira interest groups has cautioned against acts of tribal incitement and violence in the ongoing legal tussle over the ownership of Ajaokuta land. The caution was contained in a release by the Special Adviser to Governor Yahaya Bello on Special Projects, Hon. Abdulkarim Onyekehi Suleiman following a historic visit to the native village of Ajaokuta by various groups and relevant stakeholders. The visit, led by the Ebira Youth Congress (EYC) and government appointees from Ajaokuta LGA to the palace of Ohiete of Ajaokuta, the leading traditional ruler of the area also culminated into delivery of a World Press Conference on the legal battle for the true owners of Ajaokuta between Ebira people and the Igalas. PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has signed the Fourth Alteration Bill that grants financial autonomy to State Judiciaries and State Houses of Assembly into law. The Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters (senator), Senator Ita Enang disclosed this to State House correspondents on Friday.
