As part of measure to ensure safety at the workplace, Kogi Enterprise Development Agency, KEDA under the leadership of the MD/CEO KEDA, Hajia Rekiya Onaivo Sanni has organised a one day capacity training on fire safety. The training which was facilitated by the Health Safety and Environment (HSE) officer, Helen Feleshi is aimed at equipping the agency staff on measures that guaranty safety in case of fire incidence. Helen Feleshi while educating the staff on precautionary measures against fire outbreak at workplace noted that even though organizations were not established with the expectation of fire and other emergencies, preparing the staff against possible occurrences enables them to effectively manage risky situation within their working environment. Some concerned individuals have raised an appeal on Facebook few days ago, solicting financial support to Abedo Ahuoiza Imukurusum, a 100 level Microbiology student. The needy student who is currently maintaining a 3.55 CGPA at the university is on the verge of dropping out of school due to the inability of her parents to finance her studies. The post which went viral on various social media channels caught the attention of Dr. Sanusi Ohiare, prompting him to giving express intsruction that the fee be settled with immediate effect.
