Food Insecurity: Charity Organization Rounds Up Monthly Nutrition Support Outreach, Calls For Stakeholders Intervention

 Zaks Foundation for Humanity (ZFH), an Abuja-based Non Governmental Organization (NGO), has rounded off it monthly Nutritional Assistance Program (NAP) for the most vulnerable people for the month of June, 2023. Speaking at the penultimate distribution of the food packages in Karu, a suburb of Abuja, on the 27 of June, 2023, the Chairman of the NGO Mr Aliyu Ahmed lamented the worsening food insecurity and hunger pervading the entire country.  Mr. Aliyu stated further: “as millions of Muslims in Nigeria will be celebrating Eid al Adha, also known as the “Feast of Sacrifice,” let us take time to reflect on the millions that are going through food insecurity and hunger around the country” According to him, “ Nigeria ranks as number 103rd out of the 121 countries in the 2022 Global Hunger Index with a score of 27.3%”. Easter Holiday: Foundation Donates Food to Poor And Vulnerable in Kogi Central

A non-governmental organization with its headquarters in Abuja, Zaks Foundation for Humanity (ZFH), rounded off the first phase of its monthly Nutrition Assistance Program (NAP), also known as Feed Me Programme, in Kogi Central, Kogi state, North Central Nigeria, during the Easter holidays.  According to the Chairman of the NGO, A. S. Aliyu, ZFH is seriously concerned about the enormous deprivations and poverty challenges amongst the most vulnerable people in our communities, resulting in extreme hunger and the attendant poverty health challenges across the country.  The organization, he said, has taken a bold step to tackle the menace of hunger, poor health and other indicators of multidimensional poverty through its monthly Nutrition Assistance Program/ Feed Me. EPA FORMALLY FLAGS OFF COMMUNITY MOBILIZATION CAMPAIGNS FOR THE 2023 POPULATION CENSUS, CHARGES ALL TO BE INVOLVED

With barely a month to the much-talked-about 2023 population census, preparation for the success of the exercise in Kogi Central Senatorial District gained a major boost as Ebira People's Association (EPA) formally flags off its district-wide mobilization campaigns today 4th April, 2023.
